Knife vs. Gas Mask

WHAT THE FUCK?!

today is of course the day that little kids dress up and shit. How ever, i noticed something about society. I, with no costume, simply worse a gas mask and observed peoples reactions. Kids with full-faced masks and bloody knifes dont even get a second look while i was stared at. I was looked at as demonic.

Question: which is scarier? A knife? Or a gasmask? Think about it like this... a knife is meant to harm while a gas mask is meant to protect. Why would something that protects you be looked at as harmfull?! By that same token we should be running in terror from people with helmets and seatbelts!

I got on the bus with a gasmask and the bus driver told me to take it of. Now me being me i said "I wont, why should i?" "because you will scare the pasangers" "well a gasmask is meant to protect. If some1 walked in with a helmet you wouldnt dare tell them to take it off now would you?" "well you dont need a gas mask" "Queens is the most poluted of the 5 boroughs. Excuse me for not wanting cancer or wanting to live longer but I'd prefer to keep my lungs pink."
He let me on.

So it just goes to show you that is you dare try to protect yourself... your feared. If you try to scare people, its perfectly fine.
Happy fuckin Halloween america.

hi will, i guess you're right...but obviously, your mask brings up concerns to other people. whereas to the kids costume is for all play and good fun (though many times, it's easily misinterpreted as something bad, such as the knife dilemma), your mask would put fear and tension into those around you. why is this man protecting himself? from what? these people would be put into panic and be scared because they would feel the need to protect themselves as well. anyway, the bus driver may also find it very suspicous as to why you would be wearing one in the first place. to you, it may have been part of a halloween costume get up, but to him, it was more of a safety issue that would or could affect him and/or the passengers on the bus. things like he could be a terrorist wanting to deploy toxic gas in this bus could be one of the many thoughts running around on his mind. i understand what youre trying to say, but halloween is a commercial holiday, costumes are hallmark for the occasion. anyway, society has been crazy and will continue to twist and turn for the worse. very rarily will society benefit all the people. needs will be catered for one group of people and another time and time again. the end. i love you will.

bye.
